Currently we provide them with vocational training and support for their small business ventures. We educate these women and give them skills in dressmaking. We encourage them to get involved in agricultural activities and work hard to earn a living and care for their children. We have an adult education program for the women, and we teach them how to read and write.
In the past our efforts have been focused on providing these services to the widowed and poor women in our community, but as more resources become available we hope to be able to expand these services to other needy women. We also encourage girls who have dropped out of school to come and continue with their education at the centre.
